The Atlanta community rallies around Auntie Angie’s House, A pregnancy home that is a safe place for women. While politics worked to divide our global communities with Pro-Choice vs and Pro-Life debates, political and social activist Angela Stanton-King focused on creating solutions for pregnant unwed mothers who have chosen to keep their children.

Motivated by her personal experience being an unwed mother and returning citizen, Stanton-King created a solution-based initiative titled Auntie Angie’s House, a safe place tailored specifically for pregnant women in need. The organization is housed in multi family home nestled in a beautiful suburb of Atlanta and will provide housing for eight (8) expectant mothers in need of resources including shelter, food, clothing, job training, counseling and most importantly community support in an effort to offer a fresh start for them along their journey to motherhood.

Numerous community organizations including Ashley Furniture, My Pillow, Monumental Ministries, The X for Boys, Fierce Faces, A1 Consulting, Micromi Brows Academy and Spa, the Black Conservative Federation, the HBUC, the Embassy Atl, Stanton Publishing House, and Alveda King Ministries.
