Background information on testosterone:
Testosterone is a male sex hormone. It contributes to the development of the male genitals and later in life it plays a role in our libido, muscle mass, bone density, blood sugar and metabolism.

Symptoms of a low testosterone:
Among which difficulty sleeping, low energy, erectile dysfunction, lowering libido, loss of body hair, growth of breast tissue, reduced endurance when exercising, mental health problems and short term memory loss.

The most common causes of a low testosterone:
1. Aging. Testosterone levels in men usually peak in early adulthood and then slowly decrease over time.
2. Certain dietary factors: soy food, consuming too much or too little fat or consuming too much Bisphenol A.
3. Being overweight or obese.
4. Experiencing too much stress.
5. Sleeping too little.
6. Drinking too much alcohol
7. Medical conditions. Among them: some chronic illnesses, delayed puberty, testicular damage and genetic diseases.
8. Medical treatments: chemotherapy, radiation treatment, hormone therapy and corticosteroid drugs.
9. Lack of sexual intercourse.
