Play was suspended at Snooker’s World Championship in Sheffield, England on Monday, after a protester leapt onto a table and covered it with an orange-coloured powder.

Robert Milkins and Joe Perry were playing their first-round match at the time.

The man, wearing a t-shirt with the words ‘Just Stop Oil’, was pulled off the table as another protester tried to climb onto a second table.

Both were taken away by security staff.
