Defense Sec. Austin orders 45-day review of DoD intelligence security

On Monday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin ordered a ‘comprehensive’ 45-day internal review of the Department of Defense’s security programs, policies, and procedures. The Pentagon order comes five days after Massachusetts Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira was arrested in connection to the leak of U.S. military and NATO intelligence on the Ukraine war and American allies.
