Watch: Gift of the Givers assists fire victims of Mandela City in Klapmuts

South Africa - Cape Town - 18 April 2023 - A fire broke out at Mandela City informal settlement in Klapmuts on Monday evening. Affected victims were taken to the community hall where they were given temporary shelter. The estimate from the ward councilor and disaster management was that over 200 people were affected by the fire. A call-out was made for assistance to the Gift of the Givers disaster relief team who delivered urgent assistance.
