The Decline

Is this our fate?
Watching the nation disintegrate.
God given freedoms, they vanish
By leaders, that are tarnished

What was great, now crumbles
Family values, still tumble
Common sense, it dissolves
As society, oddly evolves

The schools, they indoctrinate
Education, it does evaporate
Life's values, they have dies
As the truth, is a lie

I see the decline
So many signs
I see the decline
I hate to whine
I see the decline
All in my mind?
