Dave Audé is back! on the Break It Down Show with Pete A Turner. If we're a bit lucky, DJ Severe will pop in and join Jon and Pete on this episode. Dave has worked with EVERYONE! You know how adorable little performers like Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Janet Jackson have stacks of #1 hits. Audé weighs in at over 130 in his genre. 130. The list of artists who work with Dave is simply a collection of nearly every notable artist of the last 50 years. Dang kid. Dave also won a Grammy for his work on Uptown Funk.

Dave Audé is on time and on track. His programming, professionalism and beats all reflect his characteristic ease within the realm of mathematical, electronic music. With more than a dozen years as a veteran producer and DJ, Dave has produced, remixed and listened to a shitload of records. Like a Ph.D. educated archeologist uncovering ancient treasures, Audé expertly distinguishes classics from worthless sound shards. Perhaps that is why U2, Sting, Coldplay, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Royksopp, Bastille, Ariana Grande, Zedd, Mark Ronson, Erasure, One Republic, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Chris Brown, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Beyoncé, tATu, Donna Summer, and Korn have trusted him to translate their music into dope on wax.

“The real focus is on the artist and the song,” explains Dave. “I am more dedicated to producing quality music and seeing a record be successful than simply completing a contract.”

In 2016, Dave won a Grammy for his remix of Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk” (which also won 3 more Grammy’s including Record Of The Year).

Dave has also created an un-precedented 121 #1 Billboard Dance tracks (and counting). His Audacious Records imprint was not only Billboard Magazine’s #1 Indie Dance Label for 2015, but it is introducing a myriad of fans to deliciously insane beats that include Audé’s 2016 single, Love Me like You Mean It a collaboration w/ #1 country artist Kelsea Ballerini. Dave teamed up again with singer Andy Bell (of Erasure) for their second release True Original, it reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart in March 2016 (their previous single “Aftermath” went to #1 in 2015). Dave served as Music Director for the Pussycat Dolls Tour, crafted music for the feature film ‘Nine’, and added a few IMDA nominations to his list of accomplishments all within the past few years. He also hosts Audacious Radio a monthly podcast that is available for free on iTunes and showcases some of the hottest releases and exclusive remixes. Add that to all his studio work and you could say the man doesn’t like to rest on his laurels.
