HOLY SPIRIT HOKEY POKEY / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: Does it matter what non-believers think of the Church? Many non-Christians say they are scared of attending Church because some of them have “holy” laughter that sounds like zoo animals kicking and screaming on the floor, shaking all about, and other wild displays of the Holy Spirit. Some call it the “Holy Spirit Hokey Pokey.” Doesn’t the Bible say Church should be a place of order and not of chaos? Shouldn’t Church be a worship service and not a circus? Wouldn’t that drive people further away from Christianity? Some Christians say that God will often have us do foolish things even if it doesn’t make sense to us. They say the book of Acts talks about people being touched by the Holy Spirit. Do you have any thoughts on this?
