THOR 4 Motivation for Chris Hemsworth's workouts
Few actors in recent memory have embraced the process of bulking up for a movie with as much zest and noticeable success as Chris Hemsworth did when he was cast as Thor. Hemsworth worked out with trainer and ex-Navy SEAL Duffy Gaver for the first movie, using an old-school bodybuilding technique while paying close attention to Hemsworth's arms and shoulders. After all, Thor rarely appears shirtless yet frequently wears no sleeves. Hemsworth put on a total of 20 pounds, building the basis for a physique he has kept in peak shape for both Thor: The Dark World, the standalone sequel, and his recurrent part in The Avengers.
"We've pretty much stuck to the original template," Gaver claims. Naturally, there have been some variations throughout time to keep things fresh and avoid plateaus, but this is the fundamental structure. Despite having high-powered clients, Gaver sticks to a straightforward training approach and doesn't try to spice things up with new tools or unusual activities.
This should tell you something, says Gaver, because so many of the things that are currently being sold on infomercials did not even exist when the first Mr. Olympia competition was place. "I value my specialization in the training sector since clients who come to me are eager to get started. They have a timeline, and at the end of it, someone will place a camera on them, blow it up to 30 feet tall, and it will become a permanent part of history. The one who understands that "Hey, this is all about hard work" will always win in terms of fitness regimen.

The actor's body has made "Chris Hemsworth Workout" the top search result when you enter his name into Google. Hemsworth in particular was a model of consistency. However, the Internet is a minefield of dishonest, click-baiting "Thor Workout" copycats. Fortunately, all you need to refer to is the complete, uncut template we provide here, along with workouts taught by IFBB physique pro Sadik Hadzovic. There are no short cuts, so get ready to hit the gym.
When people see Chris, they often assume that he is using steroids, but Gaver claims that this is not the case. Only red meat, big weights, and some protein powder were used. He dominated each and every workout. He merely made the decision to dress as Thor.
Make sure you perform any exercises A and B together as supersets. Any exercises with the letters A, B, or C are trisets.
