It is so tempting to interview as many people as possible and end up overwhelming ourselves with all of the options from doing so. We hate to have to face the possibility of not interviewing and selecting that "perfect candidate" but the harsh reality is that even if we talk to them, the chances that we will identify them during an interview process is low. Instead we should focus on what works and limit our choices dramatically to lower the cost, increase the speed, and most importantly improve the results of our interviewing and hiring processes.
