The freight index has been dropping steadily for the past few months and this is likely due to the fact that there is simply less freight being shipped overall. This is causing a lot of damage to the economy, as businesses that depended heavily on shipping are going bankrupt. This is a situation that is only going to get worse in the future, so be prepared for it!
