How to Fix Curled Toes on Chick

With a little patience and very minimal supplies curled toes on a newly hatched chick can indeed be fixed. In all our years hatching out chicks, we've never had this issue. I'm so glad there is a way to fix it!
Supplies needed:
thin cardboard (ex. back of a spiral bound notebook)
bandaids
patience
Instructions:
Cut cardboard to size. You can measure your chicks feet or just place their little feet on the cardboard and cut to size.
Hold cardboard on bottom of feet.
Wrap bandaid around the cardboard a feet. The cardboard will act as a splint.
Leave for 24-48 hours.
Make sure the chick can still get to food and water with the boots on.
