Richard Groves - Hurricane Ian Insurance Claim Help 3792 Tamiami Trl, Port Charlotte Florida, 33952

I am Richard Groves.

Coming from the Carolinas, I’m no stranger to storms and my wife has been a public adjuster for several years. We watched as Hurricane Ian roared toward the Southwest Florida coast, heading directly towards her sister’s
home with nothing but bad intentions. She asked me if I would
join her when she heads to Florida to help and I agreed.  We
arrived and joined forces with InsuranceBusters.net in the
humanitarian relief effort, more specifically feeding and
fellowship at Englewood United Methodist church. Hundreds of
people came through daily to get a hot meal. A picture began to
present itself of what had happened, what was going to happen,
and what would be needed to get through this.

Days passed, thousands upon thousands of people, from all
walks of life stopped by for a hot meal and a caring shoulder.
Some brought water, supplies, and clothes. Curiously enough,
InsuranceBusters.net does not accept monetary  donations from
the public, instead they opt to pass on all donations to the place
that offered staging for the humanitarian effort. I had never
seen so many public adjusters gather in one place, not for
insurance matters or claims, but rather to simply help others
anyway they could.  Together we were public adjusters,
apprentices, estimators, and spouses running at full speed at
three locations spreading food and fellowship to the masses. I’ve
never been more proud or challenged.

Cooking was easy for me, it is something I’ve been around my entire life, but while I’ve been here, I’ve also been challenged by Cal Spoon to do more,
be more and apply myself in ways I never dreamed. Serving a hot meal helps with the immediate need, but the ultimate solution is I must become a PIA.
