Spiritual love is a giving sacrificial love and is essential for there to be harmony with a lifelong partner. Are you loving more than just with words? Perhaps you're showing your love by working to provide or by making a house a home, but are you really caring for your mate in your heart? Are you rude? Are you doing only what you want to do? Are you argumentative and easily provoked? Are you thinking bad thoughts about your mate? Do you bear your heart sharing each other's burdens? Do you trust your mate with your inner self? Do you believe in your mate? Are you cheering your mate on for all their hopes and aspirations? Do you endure the disappointments and setbacks in life together? Do you love your mate with an unfailing love for a lifetime? This is what is needed to make your marriage successful. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8.
