Starting seeds - everything you need to know to start seeds for your permaculture garden.

Seed starting season is a month off for me still, but I wanted to get this information out there for our warmer climate watchers who may be starting seeds soon. Look up seed starting guides on the farmers almanac for your region to get exact dates when you should start. The general ballpark is 6 to 8 weeks before your last frost date.

My goal is to empower you with knowledge. If all you have is a list of what to do, then when problems happen you can't react correctly. It is a balance between too much information that makes people zone out and stop watching, or not enough information so that it's just like every other video out there.

The goal of this channel is to teach you not just what to do, but WHY, and try to do it in a way that is technical enough to enable learning, but not so technical that people are turned off.

Let me know how I did, and if there is value in this video for you in this regard. Did I give you something that you will remember and improve your carry around knowledge? Did I enable you to solve your own problems, by understanding what the plant needs and when it needs it? I hope so.

If you liked this video, please subscribe and hit the notification bell, and get the word out and let others know what we are doing over here. My goal is to get a garden in every house that can fit one, and put a hobby gardener in every home. we need to decentralize the food system, to reduce carbon in the air from transportation and packaging, to grow sustainably, and to save the bees.

Doing shopping on Amazon? If you start your shopping by clicking on my Amazon affiliate link, it costs you nothing (not even a penny) but I receive a small commission of anything you buy. The link here takes you to my website blog on my favorite permaculture books. However, if you click on any link there as your starting point, then go buy ANYTHING, it helps support me.
