Activists and business owners in Chicago are urging officials to bring back the curfew for minors that was implemented last summer. The recent weekend witnessed multiple instances of disorderly scenes and numerous arrests due to large gatherings of young people. As per the Chicago Police Department, nine adults and six minors were arrested on Saturday night after hundreds of individuals gathered near Millennium Park, and some were involved in "reckless and disruptive behavior.
Chicago is currently experiencing a situation where numerous teenagers are causing havoc by vandalizing property and assaulting tourists. This phenomenon has been labeled as the "Teen Takeover."
