Kremlin critic given 25 years prison for treason

Outspoken Kremlin critic Vladimir Kara-Murza was jailed for a quarter of a century by a Moscow court on Monday (April 17), the harshest sentence of its kind since Russia sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine last year, after it found him guilty of treason and other offenses he denied.
