"The vast majority of every country in the world is developing some type of CBDC and the central bankers have admitted whether it's Agustin Carstens or Christine Lagarde that it's about control, it's not about money.

It's about ending financial anonymity, being able to surveil every transaction, where every dollar goes and is spent, and being able to control what people can and can't buy.

If you control the money to that extent, you can control what people can or can't do, where they can or can't go, the possibilities for them are really endless."
