Shooting at Alabama birthday party kills 4 people, wounds 28

Law enforcement officers in Alabama appealed to the public on Sunday to come forward with any information regarding a shooting that resulted in the deaths of four individuals and the injury of 28 others during a birthday party for a teenager.

Among the deceased was a high school senior, who had planned to play college football and was celebrating his sister’s sixteenth birthday at a dance studio in downtown Dadeville on Saturday night when the shooting occurred.

During two press conferences on Sunday, Sgt. Jeremy Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency did not take questions and did not reveal any information regarding a suspect or a possible motive, the Associated Press reported.
