Dusty reached out to Kyle and asked him to tag along on his first morning out Turkey Hunting in 2023. Dusty was adamant about wanting the Gobbler to put on a show or he wasn't going to shoot. Once setup it didn't take long to realize they were close to the roost; really close as in forty yards close. After flying down the birds came in to twenty yards and put on a gobble clinic, but never came in to attack the decoys. After the gobblers left they packed up and headed for a new mid morning spot. After sitting in a blind for a little over an hour a gobbler came in silent and beat the decoy up and Dusty hit his mark. Old friends catching up was great, but a gobbler at six yards was the cherry on top!
