G-7 diplomats reject Chinese, North Korean, and Russian aggression

The top diplomats from the Group of Seven wealthy democracies have pledged to adopt a firm stance on China’s growing threats to Taiwan, as well as on North Korea’s unchecked testing of long-range missiles.

Additionally, they are seeking ways to enhance support for Ukraine and penalize Russia for its invasion, while creating momentum on these fronts during their talks in a Japanese hot spring resort town.

Russia’s war in Ukraine will be a significant subject on Monday’s agenda, as envoys aim to establish a path for G-7 leaders’ action next month in Hiroshima, as reported by the Associated Press.
