All recorded with real amps, into Reaper on Windows, using the Slate Digital Pass. Please give me some mixing advice in the comments if you find any, just be aware that YouTube adds some of its own compression. If anyone is interested, for Guitar I used an Orange Dark Terror into a Orange 2x12 OB, which was miked with an AKG C214 and an sm57. Bass was recorded by the sm57 out of a Orange Crush 100BXT Bass Combo with an EWS Stormy Bass Drive pedal. For vocals I used the AKG C214. Drums were all done through a VST because I cannot drum, but I'm thinking of learning. Whilst I am no master engineer, I think that for a 17 year old in his bedroom, this sounds pretty good.
