So I put in a pond - Update, 500+ plants and 42 yd of woodchips later...
Most recent update on the ecosystem pond. This video was taken yesterday morning before doing wildflower hill. I swapped the order of them so that it wasn't non stop pond videos - although this pond to me is fascinating in terms of horticultural microclimates and niches.
The first few months of the growing season are so important. This is when we can get the most infrastructure projects done - before it gets too hot. It is well worth it to draw deep and find inner strength and endurance to work hard long days in March, April and May, so that June, July and August can be more productive but also more relaxing.
