Combat Anxiety by Changing Your Lifestyle & Reducing Stress

Ben Fuchs taught me that anxiety can be addressed from two directions: outside-in and inside-out.

He explains that social stressors and circumstances, as well as a poor diet, trigger anxiety due to low blood sugar, reduced oxygen, and digestive toxins.

I have always known that anxiety can be caused by both the brain and the gut, which are connected via the vagus nerve.

To combat anxiety, eat less sugar, eliminate problematic foods, and breathe slowly and deeply. As Ben says, “Your brain will notice these changes and calm down, and your anxiety will subside.”
