Summary:
As the world gets crazier and more evil, Christians would do well to consider the words of Paul concerning these days. We must change our minds from thinking there is a political solution to the world’s problems. Government is a device of the adversary, and it is very much controlled by him. You cannot vote to remove demonic powers. The lesser of two evils is still evil, and we are to “abstain from all appearance of evil.” Paul never admonished us to get involved in politics. Rather, he wrote that we should conform our minds to the Word of God and prepare for the coming persecution.

Takeaway:
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; It is the saints who must bring our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Christ’s shed blood at Calvary defeated Satan and his angels. He despises the children of God, and his hatred is ramping up nations to begin anew the final persecution of the saints. Are we ready?
