If you can not provide documented or recorded evidence of swearing to uphold the U.S. Constitution, you must resign or be terminated from office, in order to avoid criminal prosecution.
Writ: an order or mandatory process in writing issued in the name of the sovereign or of a court or judicial officer commanding the person to whom it is directed to perform or refrain from performing an act specified therein.
The term writ refers to a formal, legal document that orders a person or entity to perform or to cease performing a specific action or deed.
Writs can take many forms including summonses, writs of execution, writs of habeas corpus, warrants, and orders.

Warrants and subpoenas are two common types of writs.
