“So a fairly deep dive. There is a lot of cool work here and the cool thing about this is it plays into LamPro super well. Cause I mean there is a ton of calibration work we need to do for LamPro, so I think this is a good sort of segue into that and capabilities we’re gonna really need. So I think this is super work and I love the collaboration with MAPD. Trying to understand their needs and build great software. Great!”
- Ken Greiner said this about Dr. Egan's plans for the new image calibration product.

More info:

Dr. Egan spent a week in California meeting with the MAPD group, learning about their needs for image calibration. They told him they were desperate for solutions.

He identified and characterized the tasks MAPD engineers were trying to accomplish.

At the Nov 6, 2019 Sprint end meeting, he presented his plans for image calibration tasks, issues/learnings, and proposed features/solutions. This is slides 6 and 7 in the video clip.

Tasks and path forward are shown in slide 8. He presented a complete set of solutions for MAPD and Lam’s customers, and a path forward to get them.

Greiner killed this work 5 weeks later at the orders of the FBI.

(Note: Coventor always recorded the monthly meetings so everyone would know what was said and people who missed the meeting could catch up. This video clip is taken from the official recording.)
