Reports are that Mitch McConnell is planning his retirement from the senate. That could be good news for conservatives. But the one thing he is trying to do before retiring is to change Kentucky law to allow Mitch himself to appoint his successor. Kentucky must not allow this to happen. The governor must not do this.
