Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne Chapter 3 (Father)

We get to see Throne's mother for the first time in the flashbacks as the Father of the Blacksnakes goes into detail about how they met. Sadly, he cuts out some inconvenient details that we will not get until the Mother route. When he is finally done talking, the knives come out.

I think either Temenos or a cleric in general is a must for this fight as you need to have a way to deal with the insta-kills here. The cleric job will give you a Revive skill that is AOE, but importantly, you have an AOE heal to remove the bleed status. Sadly, it is hard to stay on top of things at the levels I have here, and made much worse when he starts to get additional turns and favorable positions in the turn order. I hate enemies with insta-kills and this one falls into that camp, so I'm not too happy with it. Ironically, the Mother route is a bit more of an interesting fight since she is more of a team player...
