You never know what DIY project we will do next! Today it's LARD. Yes, that's rendered pig fat. We buy a whole hog every year to have pasture-raised pork available in our freezer. Definitely the way to go. It's delicious. Plus, then you have opportunities to make things like lard. Despite what you may have heard, it's a healthier option to many of the oils available today.
