It was time to wood turn something DIFFERENT, will blow your MIND !!!

In this woodturning video, I will make my biggest vase of my woodturning career also to turn something different where NO resin is involved :) It will be as high as 46cm or 18” and as wide as 21cm or 8.5”. Made out of 276 individual coconut palm tree pieces glued together with black dyed tulip wood in between each segments and layers. Turning such project requires a great level of patience and skills too. The total build was spread across number of weeks due to loads of glue drying time but the total working hours was around 30-35hrs. Finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure for great long lasting beautiful finish.
