Men Like Swords can be forged in fire

It is impressive enough to have a will like iron but what is sublime is to have a spirit like fire, for fire shapes everything inside a man.

Swords have been made of different materials over the centuries. Swords have been made out of copper, bronze, and steel. Blooms of steel were an early example of what was used to forge the Roman gladius. A good sword has to be hard enough to hold an edge, strong enough and flexible enough that it can absorb massive shocks at just about any point along its length and not crack or break. Finally, it should be balanced along its length so that it can be wielded effectively. A sword may be single or double-edged. For example, a Japanese katana has a single edge but a Scottish claymore is sharpened on both sides. Swords start out as really just metal and through a process become very beautiful. Every element must be of the best, but it is very important to have a good forge and great control over the fire.

Sharpen your blade. Today, make quiet time and have mindfulness. Read and grow your knowledge. Take breaks. Get to know yourself. Love yourself and care for yourself. Exercise.
