Appeal to Futility Fallacy- Arguing that there is no point in doing something because nothing will change. A variation of "it's all the same" and a close cousin of "Just shut up, please stop talking." Example, "government is just human nature so there's nothing we can do about is unlimited growth."

Definition After The Debate

HSD Definition Vegansim (" Wanting to decrease and remove animal based products and services that harm animals while trying to replace them with alternative non animal based products and services. While having your own personal philosophy and way of life to reduce harm and uplifting rights. While trying to act in line with ones value of animal life and rights. ")

HSD Current Definition

{ Note
- First off values is subjective.
- So there is much disagreements in the vegan community.
- There are six things all vegans try to live up to and veganism is a a system of ethics with a spectrum.
- This system of ethics can also be seen as a form of values and steps and changes people take towards becoming vegan,
- This is a philosophical belief based definition of ideas vegans have in common, The goal of this definition is to state what vegans have in common for the goal of logical consistency } [Veganism (HSD]

1) Vegans are people who ideally do not wish to Make sentient beings suffer, and or cause said suffering, and or value right to life and liberty.

2) Vegans can have different philosophies for rights and or values for sentient beings

3) The value the person holds from 1st point creates a desire to take action against what that person finds undesirable at least. If options are available on some level of consistency.

4) The level of consistency is a spectrum based on both actions and beliefs the level of consistency can be in one of the following. The moral value of life, logical definition, other ethical values, Also species consideration based on a priority, emotional intuition of life. There can be a mixture of all positions.

5) This philosophy has a spectrum of valuing and or considering sentient beings and is primarily focused on nonprivileged and or across different sentient groups to reduce eliminate or minimize discrimination in reference to modern culture.

6) This philosophy leads to trying consistently to replace products and services that cause harm and suffering to sentient beings. Normally judged by comparison of the alternatives based on its requirements of suffering in production and if sentient beings can advocate for themselves or have institutions in power to do so. The goal with this value is to take responsibility for at least the demand an individual creates in the market

7) All of the above leads to a way of life that seeks to uphold value and or consideration for sentient beings above products, service, slavery, addiction, profit, peer pressure or use made from them. Not to say you can't use sentient beings however to try and value and or consider them above said use within your system of ethics.

(Conclusion) Veganism is a system of ethics with a spectrum that can fit in many different values with a few key similarities.
