I do this page to raise money of Ozark Hunger Relief. I am trying to open an office to feed the hungry in a small town in Arkansas.
The book of Daniel is a prophetic book that foretells future events for the Jews and the Gentile nations. It is about the sacking of Isreal and taking of thousands of slaves. The King seperates out Daniel and other students to train as Babylonians to act as go-betweens to the Jewish Slaves. It deals with the Jews deported to Babylon and their resistance to the king's demands to abandon their faith in God and change to worshipping Nebacnezar's God's. It also predicts the rise and fall of four world empires: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. The book of Daniel was likely written between 540 and 530 B.C.2. The book of Daniel has a message for both Jews and Gentiles today, as it shows God's sovereignty and plan for history.
