The Gospel records many witnesses to the crucifixion of Jesus along with other historical books.

Some were disciples and friends of Jesus, others were sworn enemies and still others that were soldiers assigned to nail Him to a cross, operating under orders directed from Pontius Pilot

Interestingly there is another who saw the execution of our Lord approximately 1,000 years before the event took place.

But how can that be?
