Bringing Lucy home (and Bison?)

Today 4 of us leave to pick up Lucy, our new Aussie Shepherd puppy while Ben (grade 7) stays home to watch the dogs (with grandma checking in on him). It was a total of 10 hours there and back, roughly 8 hours driving, 1.5 hours charging and 30 mins at the pickup.

The kind people we met also have Bison, so I asked if he would show me the bison, and talk about them a bit. So we have that at the end of the clip. Please forgive the audio, we were keeping a good healthy social distance due to COVID, and it was windy. It's still audible but there are portions that are pretty windy!

We then brought her home to get to know our 3 dogs - all 3 morkies. Harry (smallest), Max (growliest - but he's really sweet, we swear), and Ginny (largest).

Harry took to her right away (like glue). Ginny is great with her - kind of lets her be, but also checks her out and watches over her a bit. Growly max is half dumb and half blind (well maybe more like 3/4 dumb), and he is very skittish, so he growls a lot, make a big scary "get away from me" thing. The funny thing is, now, 2 days later they are maybe the closest. Max runs around with her a lot now (still growling here and there) to assert his crankiness.

Meanwhile Lucy couldn't care less. She just runs around like a bus, bats them, falls over, chews on some plants, gets up, more zoomies and that just cycles.

I think long term, her and Ginny will be best friends, roaming the land hunting for rabbits and chipmunks, and keeping the deer away.

Thanks for watching.
