Canadian Permaculture Day in the life (2) - Winter 2021

A medley of short clips on various topics:

0:58 Morning with Ginny
1:57 Peach canker rot via freeze thaw crack
4:51 Trunk protectors can girdle trees
6:32 Wild Rabbits
7:49 Jerusalem Artichoke "potato pancakes" deruny
9:57 Lemon Balm and Mint tea
10:20 Random clips from my being a creeper and trying to get the odd "candid" clips -I save stuff like this for the personal files, but I may splice the odd thing into my videos for a few reasons - some people have been asking to see more of the family because they watch these channels not just for permaculture videos but also want more vlog "day in the life of " stuff. Also because fires and USB key damage happens, and the more places I can splice family footage the more likely it will survive until I'm old and grey to really enjoy them.
Ending with so random family clips, and a walk in the woods.
10:45 Puzzle. Let me know in the comment section if you figure this out (why I find this hilarious). Who made those icons for each person. This may be harder for people who don't know the personalities of some of my family members. And at the same time, knowing the answer will give people some insight to that. I'm also not sure if that's even going to be funny for others, but the funniest part about this is how accurate the pictures are. I will talk about this in the very bottom of the description section (for those who don't want a "spoiler").
11:12 Walk in the woods teasing the next video. I think these walks are really important for getting your thoughts together. I do some of my best thinking during these walks. Some of the biggest decisions of my life have come from these walks.

Be safe. Be resilient. Design your life or someone will design it for you. This is planning season, so get planning.

//////////// Solution to puzzle ///////////

William made these icons and I personally find it hilarious for a few reasons. First, look at the icons he picked for his parents. I like that we have fostered an environment for my children where they are free to poke fun at their parents. Chicken master for me is great because I keep putting the chicken pressure on my family (but we don't have any yet).

The picture for Ben is perfect. He is our firecracker, I mean look at the thumbnail of this video. I love his attitude and wish it I more like him in that way. Jackson is also perfect because he is this gentle kind soul. This kid just wants everyone around him to be happy. Then William picks this majestic lion for himself.

Everytime I look at these photos I laugh (especially Ben/Jackson).
