Why we need cryptocurrency - Part 1, Bitcoin

Bitcoin is just the first iteration of blockchain technology, yet its all people talk about when they think of cryptocurrency. This 2 part series will discuss why cryptocurrency is so important. my goal is to talk about Ethereum and blockchain applications such as Defentralized Finance, and decentralized exchanges. These would prevent Robinhood from being able to break the law in order to cheat the game and prevent trading of GME (not just RH, many many institutions did this).

However in order to talk about Ethereum, we must first understand bitcoin. what it is, how it works, and WHY it hasn't died yet, nor ever will. What gives it value? Then in part 2 we will move to Ethereum.

Then we will get back to gardening...!!!

If this isn't your thing, I promise we will get back to planting trees and healing the planet. Its just that... this ALSO heals the planet.

edit: one area i wish I could have spent more time on was MMT, modern monetary theory. Inflationary currency and why its killing us. I mentioned it here but I'm just not sure how fluid I was, squeezing a topic worth a Ph.D thesis defense in a 2 minute clip.
