WORKING CLASS MANIFESTO:

ALTHOUGH I AM SMART ENOUGHT TO DO IT, I HAVE NO DESIRE TO BE A SOLE OWNER SO I CAN EXPLOIT OTHERS SO I DON'T HAVE TO WORK. I WORKED FOR SEVERAL MILLIONAIRES AND BILLIONAIRES IN NYC REAL ESTATE. I DESPISED ALL OF THEM!

I WANT CONTROL OVER MY WORK LIFE. I REQUIRE A PERSONAL LIFE. I DESIRE TO BE PROUD OF MY WORK. I NEED TO HAVE RESPECT FOR THOSE I WORK FOR. I DEMAND A STABLE INCOME THAT IS ENOUGH TO COMFORTABLY LIVE ON.

I AM SICK OF WORRYING ABOUT BEING ARBITRARILY FIRED, ECONOMIC DOWN TURNS, MULTI BILLIONAIRES MANIPULATING AND RIGGING THE ECONOMY FOR THEMSELVES, AND GOVERNMENT SO CORRUPTED BY MONEY IT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS FOR THE 99% - THAT’S US!

I AM TIRED OF CORRUPT OWNERS AND CRIMINAL BUSINESS PRACTICES, VICIOUS SENIOR EXECS, HR PITTING WORKER AGAINST WORKER, BULLSHIT FAVORITISM, BOSSES WHO ARE INCOMPENTENT, CAREER ADVANCEMENT BY FLATTERYING JERKS, WORKPLACES THAT ALLOW NO INPUT FROM THE WORK STAFF, AND HAVING TO WATCH OTHER WORKERS BEING MANIPULATED, ABUSED AND USED BY SENIOR MANAGEMENT. I AM TIRED OF OUTRAGEOUS WAGE DISPARITIES IN THE WORKPLACE.

I REFUSE TO ACCEPT NOT BEING PAID THE VALUE OF MY LABOR, HEALTHCARE TIED TO EMPLOYMENT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO RETIRE. I REFUSE TO SAY IT'S OK TO LAZY ABSENTEE ASSHOLE OWNERS!

WORKING CLASS CHANNEL: One goal of this channel is to invite other working class people on to talk about topics relevant for workers and their experiences. I will also explore how how getting out of the abusive, exploitive employer/employee relationship - which I'm trying to do now by planning a worker run and owned pharmacuetical manufacturing cooperative. See below for more info about the co-op project.

MY BACKGROUND: My parents grew up in Jim Crow New Orleans in the 1940s - 1950s that has scarred them to this day. Families on both sides lived paycheck-to-paycheck as laborers, farm hands, maids, laundry women, seamstresses, warehouse workers, dock workers and porters on trains.

My mother worked as an elevator operator at Tulane University while dreaming of becoming a nurse. She never did.

For my father and mother, my dad's military career offered a way out of dire poverty onto an open road into middle class stable lives.
