Navalny in ‘critical’ situation after possible poisoning

According to a close ally, Alexei Navalny, the most prominent opposition politician in Russia, has been suffering from severe stomach pain in jail, which could be the result of slow-acting poison.

Ruslan Shaveddinov stated that an ambulance was summoned last week to the maximum-security IK-6 penal colony located in Melekhovo, roughly 155 miles (250km) east of Moscow, where Navalny is currently being detained.
