REMOVAL of California Sheriffs

I'm always amazed at how many people have NO IDEA what is happening with what our government s'elected' representatives are doing in opposition towards their very own constituents.
We are now entering into new territory with legislators creating a new Gestapo controlled only by them. This usurpation of power from the people will have massive and horrible consequences.
Sheriff's have always been the oddity to the Constitution. They can not just simply be removed by Legislators, Judges, Governor's or even the President. Unless a crime that has caused injury such as murder, or theft etc...the power to remove a duly elected county sheriff RESTS with the people. CA. AB-1090 aims to undermine that authority NOT granted to the state legislature within the State Constitution.
