Curt Long Thailand Similan Similan Islands East of Eden Scuba diving

Dive Site: East of Eden Similan Islands, Thailand
A 4 day dive trip on a live-aboard dive boat among the Similan Islands, Thailand. About 60 miles North and West of Phuket, Thailand.

This was dive #5 out of 13 dives at a site called "East of Eden".

Many beautiful soft corals, more than I had ever seen before and a surprise appearance by my first Clown Trigger Fish.

about 16 days after this visit, the 2004 Tsunami roared through here. It was lucky for our friends that own the boat that they were between dive sites when the waves hit and were in deep water. But the pier and office building back on the mainland were demolished.

Video was shot with a Sony TRV 900 Camcorder in an Ikelite housing with no artificial lighting.
