Flights take off as Yemen prisoner exchange begins

A prisoner exchange operation that will last days and involve around 900 people began in en on Friday, April 14, the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) said, with flights traveling between Aden and Sanaa. A plane carrying 125 people took off from the government city of Aden bound for Houthi-controlled Sanaa, the ICRC said, while a flight in the opposite direction had 35 former detainees on board.
