Easter in Nicaragua is called Semana Santa and the traditional activity is taking the family to the beach for the holiday. It is wild. We visit Poneloya's Playa Las Peñitas today to see what the crowd is like all along the beach road and at the Simple Beach Lodge & Pirate's Point restaurant. You can see all the food carts and stands all along the road. We start the day exploring a quiet meadow, finding the river, and discovering the bridge that we could not find before! Adventure awaits!
