very likely the cause is insulin resistance
Insulin resistance impacts hypertension
due to its negative effect on kidneys &
blood vessels
-stimulates excess aldosterone
-tells kidneys to retain salt...and water
Result: too much water in blood
-blood volume & pressure too high
