Ohio deputies made an interesting capture Wednesday after responding to a call from a resident on Red Brush Road in Jackson Township who said there was an emu in her yard.
Shortly after, deputies were able to capture the emu and deliver it back to its owner, who lives in Hamilton Township, Ohio.
"It’s not every day we wrangle animals, especially emu," the department said in a Facebook post.
Last November, WLWT reported on an emu being caught on camera walking down a busy road in the Hillsboro area.
Resident Lori Ann Justice Hurtt captured the video, showing the emu on State Route 62. The emu stopped traffic before trotting off to the side of the road.
