Bucking Ash with the Echo CS 590 TIMBERWOLF

Dead Ash is one of the hardest drying\dying woods I encounter. Not as bad as Locust but close. It dries like concrete, and is brutal on your chains.

Tearing through some with the Echo CS 590 yesterday using an old rusty chain I found in the bottom of the dead chain box. Both the rakers and teeth were a little uneven but I gave it a quick and dirty edge with a round file and put it to work.

Coming up on 5 years heavy use on this Echo CS 590 and still chews up dead ash with no problem.
