Should I go barefoot after years of heel pain? #shorts

Heel pain and going barefoot-Something has got to give on my chronic foot pain. I work 9-hour shifts without sitting down most days. I’ve had 3 heel spurs removed in the last 8 years! Did my arch supports make things worse? Why I’m trying ‘barefoot’ to heal my heel pain.
We are born with natural arch supports. Using arch supports or having extra arch supports in our shoes weakens the muscles and ligaments in our feet, making them dependent on the support and less able to function properly on their own. This can lead to pain and discomfort in the feet and even other parts of the body. When you go barefoot or use barefoot-type shoes, It can also improve your balance and posture, which can help alleviate some of the pain from your heels.
