3 WEEK old kittens thrown away - only 2 survived - this is their story

A whole litter of kittens was thrown on the side of the road in a cardboard box, one of which nearly got run over before we were grabbed them all. Sadly, three of them died very quickly after their rescue, and we were left with only two survivors, who were severely malnourished, quite sickly, and had developed deep mycosis on their face.

Alhamdulillah, we were able to quickly identify that it was not a 'normal' fungal infection and start treating it aggressively. Muttley needed a bandage in order to ensure the medicine stayed in contact with the wound continuously and would not be cleaned off by him or his sister. He was a really good boy and tolerated the bandage very well, soon both of them were clear of the infection, which was a relief to us.

Because of their difficult start in life and being so malnourished early on, they were very late growers, and will always be small. But they are healthy, playful and so loveable!

Thanks to the generosity of our customers, Muttley and Lolly were vaccinated early!!

Muttley and Lolly were adopted after a several months and went off to their forever home with a lovely family. On the one hand, we were sad to see them go because they brought us so much enjoyment while watching them grow and play, but we are also happy for them to find adopters who care about them so much.
