Maine museum offers $25,000 reward for meteorite fragment

Officials at the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum are offering a $25,000 reward for the first 1 kilogram of meteorite seen soaring near the border of Canada and the United States last Saturday. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a fireball whiz over New Brunswick, Canada around noon on April 8 before a loud “boom” was heard near Calais, Maine.
